  Bay Area Designs was established in 2004 in San Francisco by Jennifer Lee. Jennifer has 15 years experience in the field of Architecture. She obtained a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oregon after which she worked with firms in Juneau, Portland, and San Francisco as well as abroad in Barcelona and Munich.

  Single and multi-family housing is her specialty, for which she shares two Governor's Livability Awards with Portland firms. In the Bay Area she has designed: 3 homes on one lot, a 4-unit condo renovation, a Loft remodel, and a 70-unit condo/retail complex with Levy Design Partners. Current projects include: a 2,000 SF residential addition in Atherton, a 4 unit townhouse development in Mariposa, custom lodging in Yosemite National Park, and several single family homes in Mariposa and Madera County.

  Bay Area Designs offers expertise in all aspects of the design process including: planning and building code coordination, schematic design - construction drawings, budget coordination, securing permits, and construction administration. Jennifer is currently in the process of obtaining licensure in the state of California She is an Associate Member of the American Institute of Architects, a member of the Organization of Women Architects and a university instructor at the Academy of Art in San Francisco. jenny@landsmith.net
